InsurCore Data converts client, policy, activity, carrier, and attachment data from legacy insurance management systems into clean, validated, import-ready files for Applied Epic and other modern AMS platforms.
The Problem
Insurance AMS conversions involve interconnected data objects — clients, policies, activities, certificates, attachments, and accounting — that must all move together without broken relationships.
Policy data has complex line-of-business structures, carrier codes, and custom fields that differ between source and target systems.
Activity notes and suspense items are often stored in proprietary formats and get lost during basic exports.
Attachments — policy documents, certificates, loss runs — are frequently stored as blobs in the database or as filesystem references that need to be extracted separately.
Carrier and company codes need to be mapped from the source system's numbering to the target system's master list.
AMS vendors rarely provide clean documentation of their data model, making reverse-engineering the schema a core part of every project.
What We Extract
Insurance data conversions are where InsurCore Data started. We've converted hundreds of thousands of policies across the most common AMS platforms — and we understand the complexity, the interdependencies, and the regulatory expectations that come with insurance data.
The Process
We inspect the source files, database, or export structure to understand what exists and what condition it's in.
We identify tables, fields, relationships, record counts, duplicates, and critical business objects.
We map the source data to the destination system or desired output format, including any custom field logic.
We clean, normalize, restructure, and convert the data using scripts, tools, and custom logic.
We deliver clean, structured, import-ready data files with a validation report and audit trail.
FAQ
We support all major AMS platforms including Applied Epic, HawkSoft, EZLynx, AMS360, Agency Matrix, Jenesis, Newton, NowCerts, AgencyBloc, TAM, Sagitta, and many others. If your system isn't listed, ask — we've likely seen it.
Yes, in most cases. Documents stored as database blobs or as filesystem references can usually be extracted and delivered alongside the data conversion. This is scoped during the discovery phase.
The Applied Epic Book of Business (BOB) Tool requires formatted CSV files for each data object — clients, policies, activities, attachments, etc. We generate these files in the correct format with your data mapped and validated.
We export your source system's carrier/company codes and cross-reference them against the target system's master list. You review and approve the mapping before any data is converted.
Multi-entity merges and book of business acquisitions are common. We handle deduplication, entity consolidation, and ID remapping as part of the project scope.
We offer a free initial data review — no commitment required. Send us a sample file or describe your source system and we'll tell you exactly what's possible.
